Making the invisible, visible.

Story
Happy Socks is known for socks. So when they launched Moodwear, a bold new underwear line designed to lift spirits, most people didn't even know it existed. The challenge was making a product nobody could see feel impossible to ignore, timed perfectly for Christmas gifting season.

Action
We took the idea of invisible joy and made it literal. In Covent Garden, we placed a fully branded bench with a hidden lightbox beneath the surface. When someone sat down, the Moodwear pattern glowed through the seat, then faded when they left. Happiness leaves a mark.
To extend the moment beyond the installation, creator Max Selwood filmed the Boxer Shorts series live from the bench, interviewing passersby about what keeps them positive when life gets grey. The content series reached over 94,000 people online, turning a single day on the street into a conversation that travelled.
Everyone who stopped to take part walked away with something: boxer-shaped scratch card flyers with discount codes linking direct to the Moodwear collection, or a free pair of Happy Socks underwear for those filmed.
