Universities are a hotbed of sports enthusiasts, both fans and players, and sports societies are a big feature of life on campus for many.
We used our network to engage and build a grass roots volunteer network of 450 passionate Touch Rugby players to drive participation at college, uni and club level in their local communities.
Our ongoing initiative kicks off each year with a once in a lifetime visit to the hallowed turf of Twickenham Stadium. Our ambassadors are treated to talks from sporting heroes such as Jonathan Joseph, given the chance to play Touch on the famous field and receive training on how to grow the sport in their communities.
Using Seed’s ambassador management platform, Mission Manager, we encourage, inspire and reward the ambassadors alongside managing the community on a daily basis.
To further grow the game in the UK we also curate a series of national O2 touch taster sessions at major sporting events and festivals across the UK.
