Positioning Yahoo as a relevant and trustworthy brand for students at a very formative time in their lives, Yahoo landed on campus with the ‘Yahoo Mail’s Got You’ experience.
Brave students climbed the 9m Yahoo Mail tower and took the leap on to our fully branded stunt bag. Yahoo Student Brand Ambassadors were also let loose to show their fellow students how Yahoo’s Got You with exclusive content and giveaways.
Threaded through all activity was the Winbox prize draw where students were encouraged to sign up to a Yahoo Mail account for the chance to win monthly giveaways to support them through uni, including a new winter wardrobe, a cleaner for their student house, or Christmas presents organised for their family and friends. #YahooMailsGotYou
Yahoo Mail’s first ever student experiential tour became the talk of campus. Thousands of students entered the Winbox prize draw.
Over 1.7 million social impressions were generated via the Yahoo Mail Ambassador content.
