CHALLENGE
To create a memorable, performance-driven Sample Sale experience at 10 UK campuses that excites, engages and entices students to purchase.
SOLUTION
IDEA
Positioned at the heart of University campuses, Missguided took over 10 Student Unions for the ‘Struggle Doesn’t Have To Be Real’ Sample Sales.
Students signed up to the Missguided mailing list at the entrance to gain entry and browsed the Sample Sale rails to find their perfect Freshers look, purchasing there and then with one of the MG sales team.
AMPLIFICATION
To ensure that the Missguided Sample Sale events stood out from the rest and offered a more in-depth brand experience we also added to the events: a student DJ spinning student-favourite tracks, further discounts online to be won with branded scratch cards, on-the-spot sales offers reducing the discounts even further and a social media competition to win £250 of Missguided vouchers.
RESULTS
- Following the success of the activation, Seed are continuing to work with Buddy Media and Missguided to scale up the activation globally in 2020.
